This is not just about public speaking or communication skills. This is also about speaking as a physical AND mental therapy!

I have been with Toastmasters since Summer 2013 (tried in 2002 but gave up ;)), and have held dual membership since then (wasn't my intention at the beginning). I have really enjoyed the journey, which has helped me achieve a lot more in my life! I would recommend it to anyone, especially to adult immigrants like myself! Being a better communicator not only benefits oneself but the whole society as well -- my personal vision is to be more inclusive while contributing to diversity.

I was the Division I Director for 2016-2017 in District 60. I was the Area 81 Director under Division I for 2015-2016. I served as the 2014-2015 President of Alpha Beta Toastmasters Club, and was the Sergeant-At-Arms of 222Jarvis Toastmasters Club 2014-2017.

I obtained my CC designation in May 2014, and finally completed my CL in April 2016 (phew!). I then received my ALB in June 2016. I have been a Speech Contest Chair and Contest Judge at the Club, Area and Division level, as well as a Trainer for the Club Officer Training, in the Toronto area.

On leave for 2 years -- to go back in 2020!
